Marathon participation

RunInSync (https://runinsync.in/about-1 ) is India’s largest inclusive run. It was conceptualised with one express purpose: breaking down the barriers between people with and without disabilities through the power of sports. With its first ever edition on February 8, 2025, this event was a celebration of diversity and the human spirit, welcoming runners from all walks of life – abilities and disabilities notwithstanding. Organized by Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF) in collaboration with SVP India, the run is designed to promote disability inclusion while fostering empathy and understanding between participants.
Thalassemia Society Pune Chapter (TSPC) partnered with RunInSync in association with Bajaj Finserv. Our warriors participated in the 3K & 5K run on 8th February at Pune university.  It was an amazing experience to be with NGOs all over the Maharashtra region. We had approx 20+ runners and who successfully completed their run. All throughout the run, we displayed banners about Thalassemia awareness, distributed pamphlets and surely celebrated victory laps and medals.
